Why using cork?
Cork is the coat of the Oak tree. After extraction, this skin naturally regenerates itself during 9 years with no pain. It absorbs CO2 2,5 to 4 times more than a regular tree. 1,3 hectar of forest allow the production of 1 ton of cork and keep 2 tons of CO2
We use the origami folding technique without sewing. We explore materials through simple and pure shapes. Each accessory is made out of one single sheet of cork. We don’t sew and don’t glue.
